Does hair loss at a very young age mean my life is over?

I'm only 22 and have been thinning aggressively since I was 15 and I was never generally a good looking kid, but okay enough to have the shred of confidence to go about my daily life. Now that I'm 22 and my hair has become diffused really badly (think Prince William), I don't have the confidence to leave my house, let alone make friends, or haha get a girl friend. What's worse is that I like attractive girls. And these girls wouldn't even think of dating a bald dude. I'm so ugly and when I look into the mirror, I don't even know what I'm looking at. This is not me. I feel like I'm staring at a stranger. It's a really messed up feeling.
