Are whites more prone to cry racism for blacks rather than blacks themselves?

I've noticed this too. Interestingly, I read an article in Times that said whites have been inventing ways to hide racism. It also said that the majority of blacks claim that if we fail, it is due to a lack of hard work. This is odd because (racist) whites always say we "play the race card all the time"
